Naji Abi-Hashem
Naji is a Lebanese-American clinical and cultural psychologist who is involved in International service, teaching, public speaking, training, counseling, writing, consulting, and networking. He is an ordained minister and a visiting professor, and is active in many professional organizations and frequently presents workshops in various conferences and conventions. He divides his time between Seattle, WA. and Beirut, Lebanon.
Jan Akam
Director of Child Evangelism Fellowship of Snohomish County. Graduate of the Children’s Ministries Institute ®of Warrenton, MO., missionary and adjunct faculty member. Jan teaches, disciples and trains adults, youth and children for CEF®, Jan serves in opening Good News Clubs® at public elementary schools, 5-Day Clubs®, and other outreach events. She trains youth and adults as missionaries and teaches CMI® classes.
Sarah Alexander
Sarah grew up in Bremerton, WA. After being home-schooled she went to Prairie bible Collage and graduated in 2003. She then served as a Children’s Pastor in Edmonton Alberta from 2003-2005. In 2005 Sarah joined CEF. She has a special love for the preschool children. Currently she serves as a Children’s Ministry specialist in Kitsap County.
Tim Anderson
Asia has been home to “Tim” for over 25 years. He has served as a church planting missionary in a variety of roles. John now serves as a non-resident missionary with Mission to Unreached Peoples and is director of Traveling Excellence, a service dedicated to churches pursuing excellence in their mission programs.
Dick and Donna Andrews
Dick and Donna taught English in public schools here and at universities in Asia and have led summer ministry teams. Dick developed the China Awareness Seminars and co-authored China at your Doorstep, IV Press. They enjoy teaching in the Perspectives course and mentoring young adults while mobilizing for OMF International.
Richard Berghammer
From an early age Richard was involved in unorthodox religious beliefs/practices. After coming to Christ, Rich became affiliated with an ex-Mormon support group, where he currently directs meetings. Over 25 years of research, counseling, writing, and speaking experience associated with Christian apologetics and reaching non-Christian religions.
Daniel Bostrom
Daniel was born and raised in Ecuador, SA, son of missionaries. He has been in Education (27+yrs.) as Elementary teacher & Principal. Worked in business (12+yrs.). Retired, giving fulltime as Executive Director-Hellenic Ministries/USA. He as don 24+ short-term mission’s trips. In each church attended he has been an Elder, worked on mission’s committees, & taught adult SS classes.
Craig Campbell
Craig is currently working in the Seattle area as a recruiter and the director of recruiting in the NW for Wycliffe bible Translators. Craig and his wife Stephanie left the eastside in 2000 with their three young children to serve in Papua New Guinea. They worked until 2007 as support staff at SIL linguistic center in the PNG highlands.

Martha Chan
Martha Chan is the founding president of Educational Resources & Referrals-China (EERChina). She has been sending Christians to teach in China since 1986. She also serves as the coordinator for China Academic Consortium, which facilitates dialogue between Chinese and North American scholars.
Sharon Wai-Man Chan, PhD
Dr. Chan holds a PhD in intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. She is the President of the Great Commission Center International, the chief editor if the Operation World (21st century version in Chinese) and Perspectives on World Christian Movement (Chinese version), and Adjunct faculty for several Chinese seminaries in USA.
Rev. Chen Shih-Ting
Rev. Chen has been serving as the general secretary of Taiwan Grass-Roots Mission since 2000. He received his MA. at the Taiwan Holy Light Theological Seminary and is now working on his D.Min degree at the seminary. He has served as Sunday School teacher, principal, deacon, and church board chairman in his mother church and planted a Baptist church during the years 1992-2000.
Tim Clark
Tim joined Asian Access and moved to Japan in 1990. He is working with Alpha Japan to introduce Alpha’s marriage and parenting courses nationally, so that Japanese families can experience more of what God has designed for family relationships and churches can reach out in new and effective ways. Tim lives in Sapporo with his wife Wakako and their two young sons.
Gregory Crawford
Greg is the founder of COMMIT, has led over 280 short-term trips, has a BS in Cross-Cultural Ministry, an MS in Sociology, and has authored two books. He is married for 40 years, two children and devastatingly handsome.
Dawn and Anthony
Dawn and Anthony are graduates of Multnomah University with degrees in Bible/Theology, TESOL, and Music. Dawn spent two years serving in Myanmar as an English teacher. Anthony spent time short term. Both have a heart to reach the Buddhist world. The have also spent time working with Burmese living here in the US as refugees and local Burmese churches.
Michelle Diedrich
Michelle serves as Chief Marketing Officer for Global Media Outreach (GMO) and has worked with the ministry for 7 years. In addition to her work with GMO, she has assisted other Christian non-profits. Before beginning her time with GMO, she led the marketing efforts at a variety of enterprise software companies.
Gary Edmonds
Gary is President of Breakthrough Partners, an organization working to equip local leaders to transform their communities. He and his family lived in Europe for eighteen years, focusing on leadership development and church planting. Gary has a passion for unity and partnership in the Body of Christ.
Gary Elliott
A U.S. Air Force Academy graduate, Gary served as a fighter pilot. After retiring, he joined New Tribes Mission, a church-planting ministry among remote people groups, serving as a pilot in the Philippines. There he flew for missionaries in tribal locations, operating from jungle and mountain airstrips. In September 2006, Gary became Chief Flight Instructor for Mission Aviation Training Academy.
Heather Ewald
Heather was saved at the age of 3, but her desire and freedom to witness has taken many years to develop! After graduating from Taylor University, she was able to attend Moody Bible Institute for a year and loved it. Currently her main ministry is with Tel-a-Story, writing short Bible stories for kids every day; heard on a toll free phone line.
Dave Fischer
Dave spent 30 years on staff with CCC. From 2004-2008, he ministered with StoryRunners (CCC) partnering with many agencies and denominations. StoryRunners uses Chronological Bible Storying among the Unreached People Groups around the world who are ORAL PREFERENCE LEARNERS, making up 65-70% of the world. Since 2008,Dave became Missions Pastor at his local church, still actively involved in the International Orality Network (ION).

Doug is the Northwest Regional Missions Director for WorldVenture. He and his family served in Congo for several years and that experience plus his prior role of associate pastor in Eugene, OR have given him a broad understanding and value to both the church and missionaries. Currently Doug leads a team of Missions and Church Coaches who mobilize individuals and churches in engaging in the mission of Jesus Christ around the world.
Don and Myrna Hines
Don and Myrna, second career missionaries since 2001, are mobilization directors for China Outreach Ministries, helping reach Chinese students and scholars in North America for Christ. Previously they served in a China-based organization and had earlier careers in school and city administration. They are passionate about mobilizing Christians in world missions and seeing God glorified among the nations.
Keith Hook
Keith has served in various capacities: pastor, missionary in Asia, pastor to missionaries, training director for MUP, Bible college teacher, and instructor for Perspectives on the World Christian Movement. Over the past 20 years he and his family have had 70+ international students live with them for various lengths of time while attending colleges in the Seattle area.

Tom is the Executive director for People International, a church planting agency in Central Asia. He is also a part time Associate Pastor with Portland Community Church in Portland, OR. He has served in full time Missions and Singles ministry roles for over 20 years. He has traveled the globe in support of missionaries from his home church and People International for the past 15 years.

Married to my wife Carol for 36 years and have two grown sons. We met when we were staff with Campus Crusade for Christ for 5 years. After graduating from Trinity Evangelical Divinity Seminary I was a pastor with the C&MA for 24 years. Currently I am with ACTION serving the missionaries and ministry partners in Pastoral Leadership Development worldwide.
Paul E. Johnson
Currently Paul is an Assistant Professor of Intercultural Studies (missions) and Bible at Corban University in Salem, OR. My family and I served as missionary church planters in central, urban Mexico for 10 years and worked to start a mission agency among the “Bible Churches” of central Mexico. We also worked in U.S. office of CAM, promoting Latin American missions, after leaving Mexico.

Joseph has been on mission trips around the world including Ukraine, Israel, Egypt, Canada, and India. Through these experiences God has given him a passion for the world-wide church and supporting missions abroad. Born in 1918 on a Saskatchewan farm; saved at 16; attended Millar Bible School; pastured before serving in the RCAF WWII; graduated Wheaton College 1950; taught at NBBI; co-founded Bibleschule Brake, Germany; traveled much visiting/encouraging bible School graduates; married to Helen; 4 children; currently reaches those who live near-by.
Jonathan Kobayaski
Jonathan has experience in overseas missions, pastoral ministry, church planting, leadership training and church management consulting. Formerly a staff member of Campus Crusade, he is pastor-at-large at Adventure Church and directs Acts 8 Ministries, a mission committed to mobilize trainers, coaches and mentors to help empower the body of Christ in Ethiopia.
Jim Leamer
Jim is a member of Wycliffe Bible Translators and has been involved with technology in missions for the last 35 years. He helped with the design of some of the first technology uses including portable computing, networking, and multimedia. In recent years, he has spoken on campuses and conferences presenting needs and impacts of technology both now and in the future in missions.
Jerry Long
Served four decades with Wycliffe. Conducted international training workshops in leadership, management, and partnership development. Currently President and founder of Kingdom Come Training which provides online training and coaching for missionaries raising support. Helping people get fully funded in four to ten months.
Dr. Heinz Lycklama
Heinz served as Chairman of the Missions Committee at First Baptist Church in Arlington, WA for ten years. He has taught Sunday School classes and Bible Studies at this church, as well as other churches. Heinz is active in the Creation Association of Puget Sound and speaks on the topic of Creation and Christian Apologetics in different venues.
Peter Maiden
Peter is the International Director of Operation Mobilization and is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of this missionary society. David Marshall
David worked in China, Taiwan and Japan as a missionary and educator for 13 years. He is author of True Son of Heaven: How Jesus fulfills the Chinese Culture and Jesus and the Religions of Man. He is presently completing a PhD on Theology of Religions, focusing on China, at Oxford Centre for Missions Studies.
Brian Masters
The Masters have served 11 years with CAM International at their headquarters in Dallas, Texas. Brian is currently CAM’s Director of Business initiatives and is involved in two key areas: Obrerofiel.com – a Spanish ministry website and bookstore, and Business as Ministry which includes Hope Coffee, a kingdom company designed to help provide funds for the ministries of CAM International.
Mic McDaniel
Mic is busy developing communities among the “poorest of the poor” in India through micro businesses, empowering women and bringing dignity to the oppressed & disenfranchised. GHN is lifting families from poverty, educating children, retraining women, and planting churches and seeing many come to faith on a daily basis in India.
Donn Mogford
Donn is the Western USA Representative for Shepherds Ministries, a ministry of compassionate Christian care and development for adults with intellectual disabilities. Donn has served as a pastor in the northwest for 35 years. His educational background includes Wheaton College, Dallas Theological seminary and Corban University Graduate School of Ministry.
Daniel Moyer
Dan was born in Zambia and raised in a village in southwestern Tanzania. He has been serving for 22 years as a third generation missionary with his wife Tina and kids Natalie, Nadine and Seth. Current ministry: Strategic consulting in missions and global leadership development as well as cultivating communities of hope throughout Africa.
Milad Nakhla
I am Egyptian Pastor and work with Calvin Presbyterian Church in Shoreline and with students at three campuses, reaching Muslim students at Shoreline CC, Edmonds CC and Everett CC. I have a desire to encourage American Church to Evangelism and outreach. I do seminars about how to share Jesus with Muslims and to understand Islam.
Doug Nichols
Doug first went to the Philippines in 1970 with Overseas Missionary Fellowship on loan to Christ for Greater Manila. ACTION began in 1974, Doug and Margaret lived in the Philippines until 1990 ministering among the poor. As ACTION International director, Doug was focused on leadership development of the mission worldwide. He is now the Founder and International Director Emeritus.
Patrick O’Connor
Patrick, with his wife and family, pioneered in western Honduras for new “chains of churches”. Training and empowering nationals. Patrick was reared in India and has been mentored by George Patterson for many years, but their joy now is to travel extensively mobilizing others for cpm’s, serving as Facilitator for Sustainable Church Multiplication.

A former pastor, Sean resides with his wife Melissa and son James, in Maple Valley, WA. He currently serves as Academic Dean for Adelphia Bible School where he has helped design a holistic learning experience for students that includes service in local church apprenticeships under the shepherding of mentors, participation in missional communities, and classroom learning from church leaders.
Mark Ramquist
Mark has been a video producer/director for nearly 20 years, helping missionaries and churches create award-winning videos in countries around the world. He and his wife Sylvia were missionaries in Japan when he began producing videos in 1994. He began teaching video production courses in 1999, and started his own video business in 2002.
Sylvia Ramquist
Bellevue, WA has morphed into an increasingly ethnically diverse hub. Over 35% of current residents are registered as “foreign-born.” How should local churches respond? Sylvia has experienced far more spiritual harvest in her 9 years on staff at Westminster Chapel as Minister to Internationals than the 20 years she and her husband, Mark, served as missionaries in Japan.

Jack V. Rozell
Jack Rozell is a pastor and educator and has ministered overseas. He was pastor of Neighborhood Church in Bellevue for 21 years and has taught at Asia Pacific Theological Seminary (Philippines) and Northwest University. Jack is a licensed marriage and family counselor and directs a pastoral care center for missionaries and full-time ministry personnel and their families.
Nate Schnelz
Nate was born and raised in the Seattle area, and now serves as the Northwest Area Director for Frontiers. His family relocated to the Puget Sound area after spending 7 years in the Middle East, sharing Christ with Muslim friends.
Elbert Silbaugh
Elbert has been director of an Angel Tree partnership with churches and small groups in King County area since 1998. The camping program started with Prison Fellowship / Angel Tree Camping in 2000 as one of their pilot programs. We have sent about 40-85 kids to camp each summer. Elbert has mentored at risk kids since 2000.
Mike Smith
Mike Smith is the Executive director of Missio International, an Atlanta based ministry that is creating partnership with US and Eastern European Churches to reach the Unengaged of Eastern Europe. Mike previously served for 24 years as the Missions Pastor at Highlands Community Church, in Renton, WA.
Martin Thomas
Martin joined Viva in 2010 from World Vision UK. He had previously worked for 15 years with CMS, mostly as Regional Manager for Western Europe & North Africa. He has been involved in numerous charities including Oxford Youth Works, Faith to Faith. The Nigerian Chaplaincy, Urban Expression and is currently a trustee of Bless. He is married with two children.
Susie Tucker
Susie is a longtime children’s ministry volunteer whose storytelling skills propelled her into a drama ministry for adults called “Faith Heroines Alive.” Susie presents stories of women of great faith such as Corrie Ten Boom, Gladys Aylward, and other, telling the stories in character. Audiences forget they are listening to an actress and leave inspired and encouraged.
Keith Tungseth
Keith Tungseth’s involvements with local neighbors of different cultures, languages and races where he has lived in Minnesota, Illinois and Washington has resulted in his “Going and Telling It” in Russia and South America. Presently he works with Breakthrough Partners fostering communities of hope with a focus on a particular Seattle neighborhood with a high percentage of Latino Immigrants.
Sandra Van der Pol
Prior to working for World Relief, she lived and worked full time in Haiti for 15 years with her husband coordinating short term teams. They lead short term teams to several other Caribbean/Central American countries as well as in Haiti. She has been working for World Relief as the Refugee Project Coordinator since her return from HHH nearly 8 years ago.
Greg Von Tobel
Greg is the founder and President of Prisoners for Christ Outreach Ministries. PFC is a ministry dedicated to taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ into the jails, prisons, and juvenile institutions not only in Washington State, but now worldwide. PFC has field offices in 8 foreign countries including Russia, India, Kenya, Burundi, Rwanda, The Congo, Uganda and Ghana.
Dennis Wiens
Raised in West Africa by missionary parents, Dennis has spent most of his life on the mission field. Dennis is SAT-7 Director of Church connections. Before joining SAT-7, Dennis and Cindy served in the US, France, Mali and Cote d’Ivoire in a variety of ministry roles including Bible school education, field leadership, urban church planting, dorm parenting, guest house ministry and media.

Having been a Children’s Pastor for 32 years, we have been able to train children’s ministry leaders internationally as well as involve children locally to serve in international missions.

A missionary-kid parent and co-founder of Teach Abroad Ministries, Kathy is dedicated to telling others of the critical need for educators in missions. Missionary families long for quality education for their children as they serve abroad. TAM partners with international Christian schools and mission-sending organizations to assist with the recruitment of teachers and support staff for missionary families.
Ken Yeung
Founder of PRINCE OF PEACE Enterprises, maker of specialty food and health products; heads the Chinese Entrepreneurs Association – a Christian group in San Francisco; runs the Showers of Blessing Evangelistic Ministry USA – an international TV outreach, including a breakthrough weekly program throughout China. Ken, Becky and their daughter Melissa love the 100+ kids at the orphanage they started in China.
