Children’s Program

Friday 6:30-9 PM starts our Children’s Program. Child Evangelism Fellowship heads up this evening event.

Saturday 9:15-10:45 AM; 12:50-3:40 PM; 6:45-9 PMĀ  Various missionaries will be sharing with the children. We will also teach them mission stories, sing, and lots of other fun things to get kids thinking “Great Commission”.

There is one other session on Saturday 3:55-5:05 PM – it is only open for children of parents who are attending a seminar.

Your child will benefit from this time. We do our best to excite them about reaching their friends next door, in the seat next to them at school and kids overseas who need their prayer help. PARENTS need to be attending Missions Fest events at all times!

NOTE: we do not babysit – we train children to reach their peers!! The pre-school program (potty-trained) is offered if we have an adult volunteer to head it up. Maybe you would like to be that person? We do not provide nursery but there are quiet rooms for moms with babies.

2010 Report:

For children K-grade 6. We averaged about 20 in this program, held for children whose parents were attending the main sessions upstairs.

Friday evening was hosted by Child Evangelism Fellowship. They do an excellent job of teaching children the Gospel and how to share it. The Waldmans took 3 sessions on Saturday, along with Wilsons of WEC, Jeanette Sheeran of Wycliffe, and Elaine Reed. Using many different approaches (drama, play, stories, etc.) the Gospel was presented and kids were encouraged to share it with their friends.

On Saturday evening, when the children were asked if any of them wanted to accept Christ, 3 indicated that they did. What an extra bonus to have some receive Christ, too!

Christene Robillard hosted a pre-school program Saturday morning and afternoon. Several missionaries dropped in (Tim Smith, Alissa & Waldmans) while the kids were at play and presented a short missionary focus.
