Children’s Program

Missions Fest Seattle’s children’s program exists to inform ages 3-grade 6 kids about what God is doing in the world and what their job is to help Him in His work. It’s geared for their level. We run sessions during each plenary meeting.

In 2011 we had someone share finger puppets that they use in Africa to tell of God’s love; each child was given a finger puppet. A chinese lady worked with the kids at different age levels, making paper crafts. A local woman told her experiences working with Somalian people right here in Seattle. Someone spoke about the Philippines and we showed a movie called “Stephen’s Test of Faith” – about persecution. One of our plenary speakers, Russ Stendal, told of some of his experiences in Columbia. We had action songs, mission stories, and snacks. So, the kids were exposed to many different places in the world through various mediums.

Your child will benefit from this time. We do our best to excite them about reaching their friends next door, in the seat next to them at school and kids overseas who need their prayer help. PARENTS need to be attending Missions Fest events at all times!

NOTE: we do not babysit – we train children to reach their peers!! The pre-school program (potty-trained) is offered if we have an adult volunteer to head it up. Maybe you would like to be that person? We do not provide nursery but there are quiet rooms for moms with babies.
