Losing Heart: Dealing with Compassion Fatigue
What happens when the pain and suffering around you begins to outweigh the emotional and spiritual resources within you? For many global workers, this can lead to compassion fatigue, a gradual erosion of empathy, resilience, and hope. This session will explore how to remain compassionate and effective amid sustained brokenness.
About the Presenter
Randy has 50 years of experience as a Pastor and has a Masters in Biblical Counseling. He also served as a Volunteer Chaplain in the Family Courts of Tarrant County – a county which had 3000 divorces a month – and founded a faith based non-profit. He is part of the MissioCare Collective team.
