Hear how an evangelistic movement from the Chicago World’s Fair in the 1890s became a movement of world churches and has since become a syncretistic, at times messianic cult with +20 million followers in Africa. Hear how God is challenging traditional African religion and has begun to build the Body of Christ among African indigenous churches.
About the Presenter
Greg was called to make a difference in the African Indigenous Church Movement 29+ yrs ago. Seeing syncretism challenged and some, once strongly animistic, turn to Jesus, Greg loves Kingdom work. He has discipled SA amaZioni leaders, many becoming Bible teachers and brothers and sisters in Christ.
About the Organization
The mission of the Zion Evangelical Ministries of Africa (ZEMA) is to evangelize and disciple amaZioni church leaders in Southern Africa by providing Bible training, mentoring, and literature. They aim to empower African indigenous church leaders with the pure gospel to transform communities, operating mainly through Zion Bible Schools (ZEBS)
