Trauma & the Brain: A Missionary’s Guide
Trauma can feel like an occupational hazard in ministry. Unresolved trauma can result in diminished decision-making, anxiety, sleep loss and avoidant behavior. In this seminar we will discuss the neurobiology of trauma and the pathways to healing that God has provided.
About the Presenter
Kathy is a licensed neuropsychologist with a private practice in Portland. She has been on graduate faculty and consulted for global missionary teams. Kathy has a special place in her heart for missionary care, conflict resolution, assessments and trauma recovery.
