How Not to Fall Asleep in a Prayer Meeting!
What if the prayer time for missions was the most “can hardly wait for” activity of the local church? How can we motivate people to pray, both individually and in a group? We’ll look at some practical and hands-on ways to pray for people and places whose names we can’t pronounce. This will be an interactive seminar.
About the Presenter
Laura and her husband served in Venezuela for 32 years with WEC International, where they had the privilege of encouraging Venezuelans to live a “sent life”, seeing many taking the gospel to hard places. Currently they work with Spanish speaking refugees and are also part of Perspectives USA.
About the Organization
WEC International (Worldwide Evangelization for Christ) is an interdenominational evangelical mission agency focused on taking the gospel to the least-evangelized people groups. Their mission is to plant churches, make disciples, and share the Christian gospel cross-culturally in areas where little to no church presence exists.
