Why did Europe and North America experience unprecedented development and flourishing as Christianity spread, while so many nations with a Christian presence today seem to languish in poverty? What exactly IS the good news that Jesus proclaimed, and what should we expect discipleship to bring about in an individual, a society and a nation?
About the Presenter
Mike Bell is the Executive Director of Healing Nations, an organization that helps churches, groups and individuals connect to international partners for projects of compassion (including medical teams). He also teaches classes for www.perspectives.org and Pastors part time at his church in Utah.

Healing Nations mission is to glorify God by providing wholistic, transformative discipleship and compassion to neglected or marginalized people globally, bridging spiritual and physical needs through God’s Word and action. They connect churches for cross-cultural partnerships, offering medical missions and resources like water filters and food to foster sustainable, healthy communities.
