Present Day Slavery in South Asia
South Asian brick kilns are labor intensive and polluting. Most workers are indentured and illiterate. Whole families, including children, are involved. They labor long hours to meet quotas, and live in harsh, crowded, unhealthy hovels with no access to clean water and sanitation. We can support local churches that are actively ministering to these people.
About the Presenter
Panda is a volunteer ambassador for International Christian Response. He recently visited a local church in South Asia that is actively ministering to oppressed and disadvantaged people in their city.
About the Organization
The mission of International Christian Response (ICR) is to mobilize spiritual and material support to encourage persecuted Christians to persevere and proclaim the Gospel in hostile countries. ICR focuses on providing aid, strengthening believers, and facilitating church planting in areas where Christians face abuse or discrimination due to their faith.
