KENYA COMMUNITY INTERNATIONAL CHURCH GOSPEL CHOIR

Performing Friday Evening, October 7

The Kenya Community International Church was established in 2001 and meets at 4:00 Sunday afternoons at the Rainier Beach Presbyterian Church, 9656 Waters Ave S. in Seattle’s Rainier Valley. Their service is mostly in Swahili. The Rev. Geoffrey Wanyoike is pastor. The congregation has purchased land in Kent and they dream of building their own facility so they can have services in English, Swahili and Kikuyu.

SEATTLE CHINESE GOSPEL CHORALE

Performing Saturday Morning, October 8

The Seattle Chinese Gospel Chorale was founded in 1985 with the purpose of spreading the gospel through music. The group has 21 singers, a pianist and the director, Irene Liao Lee. They come from ten different churches in the greater Seattle area. They sing regularly in the Pacific Northwest, California and Vancouver, B.C. In recent years they have sung in Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia.

NORTHWEST UNIVERSITY CHORALONS

Performing Saturday Evening, October 8

The Choralons of Northwest University in Kirkland, with 120 members, are directed by Professor Brenda Rasmussen. They sing in churches and events around the northwest and tour during spring break. Their most recent choir tour was to Las Vegas. In addition to singing in several churches along the way, they assisted in the Teen Challenge ministry in Las Vegas.

Missions Fest Seattle (MFS) is an annual church sponsored event that exists to inform and excite Christians about what God is doing around the world for the purpose of involving them in the Harvest.
